The Future is Video Advertising

In the coming months, internet users can expect online videos and video ads to grow in popularity, as people move from the TV screen to computer and mobile device screens. This medium of advertising delivery has enormous potential, because users can choose to view videos on the fly. This is surely a welcome alternative to being inundated with TV ads, over which they have no control.
Online video ads are still in the early stage of development, although a company called netbugadvertising which was launched on 11th July 2009, has opened its doors to the general public. This company has given advertisers the opportunity to take complete control over their advertising campaigns, by allowing them to place their own video's online with minimal costs involved. This is great news for the small business, as video advertising would normally cost an arm and a leg.
So how does this affect the small advertisers, who cannot afford the huge amounts of money being asked by media companies, to launch their own campaigns? Simple! They can make their own advertising video's, and save themselves a fortune. Digital and video technology has given more people the incentive to make their own movies. How many weddings do you go to that have not been video'd? Probably none, as people want events to be recorded, so that they can view and remember. Video advertising is no different, you view the video, and depending how well it comes across as an advertising medium, you remember it. Look at any classified ads on any website, all you can do is read the ad, and digest the information contained within. However, if you were viewing a video ad, you see the advertisers point from a different perspective. That is the power of video advertising.
